Looking at the pics that I took at the beach while I was in LA last year reminds me that I want to upload the rest of them. Perhaps a little Santa Monica boulevard for tomorrow...?

I think the next time I hit the pool I'm going to opt for a cute matching polo tee instead of a bikini top. Nice idea. It was just sweltering in Seoul today! Had to pop by Baskin Robbins 31 for a choco mousse cone to cool myself down.

Essie's Sugar Daddy is the perfect translucent pink for my nails + currently trying out a sample of Bobbi Brown's Hydrating Face Tonic and my somewhat oily, summer face is liking it immensely.
Truth be told, I've been totally obsessed with my fuchsia shorts since the day I got them and have been wearing them nonstop. Here I've paired it with another summer fave, this Wildfox Couture t-shirt and Gorjana Arc large hoop earrings. You've probably seen it before but if you want to see me wearing the outfit, click click.
Man, I've just realized that I've gotten really tanned over this past month looking at these. And woah awkward hand movement going on in the second image. I think I was instructing my friend to shoot closer from the ground and laughing in the process. Oops. That's as candid as it gets with cellphone pics guys. So, I guess I'm wearing the same shoes as I was in the previous outfit post. Best ten bucks I ever spent.
Okay, so here is a true outfit post finally! It seems like a gazillion years since I've posted anything proper guys. The lovely Serena snapped these while we did a little meet up in MyeongDong last weekend (thanks! xo). My wardrobe is going thru an awkward phase right now, I never seem to have the perfect Spring/Autumn pieces to transition and half my summer accessories are in boxes. Bag and shoes- don't match, don't care. LOL.
Finally getting around to posting about this really, really, really cute ribbed sweater that I received from sheinside.com!!! The elbow patches are what got me. That and the sweet red. I'm imagining wearing it with white capris or tucked into short shorts & ankle booties.
Hope you have a great Saturday today. It's just gorgeous in Seoul!
Oh my, time has flown by. I cannot believe that it is the last day of February already. I figured I should stop by MyeongDong to check out the newly opened 8 SECONDS store before schoolwork starts to bury me again like it usually does. So, 8 SECONDS is another SPA brand that newly launched in Korea and is Korean owned & made. The price range is more expensive than F21 and H&M but less pricey than Zara (Seoul-lites will know that Zara is obscenely overpriced here). I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality of the clothes and consider me a little disappointed for now but we'll see, maybe they'll have better things put into the store next season. Anyhow, this is the view from outside: This is the basement floor with a cute rainbow arrangement of shoes and an interesting print-your-own t-shirt counter. Didn't hold my interest long enough so I popped over to H&M next door. Daria says Hi: Dang, that girl makes anything look good just like Kate Moss. These beige booties caught my eye: You can tell pastels are in huge force this season or next?! Then I crossed the street and made a pit stop at the Miu Miu store in LOTTE. Totally fawning over the cute clutches and wallets. I also saw the most gorgeous navy blue, suede stiletto pumps ever. Miu Miu somehow makes me squeal like a girl. Hope you enjoyed my little day-trip!
Yesterday's birthday cake (after stuffing my face with Thai) and my outfit for that evening which I took a sneaky shot of while on the subway. Breaking in those new H&M faux leather pants + black tee + black blazer + my fave suede boots.
This is the first time I'm trying out something by make-up label Korres, the Lip Butter Glaze in Jasmine is the most wonderful buttery nude ever. I have a hard time finding nude products that sit well with my skin tone so I think this is it! Very moisturizing so it gets double the points and I heartily recommend it!
Yesterday I ended up going to Itaewon and popping into Life Is Just A Cup Of Cake to try out a cupcake. I always try the Red Velvet (that is if they make that kind) when I find a new place and judge from there. You're probably thinking that I should probably rename this blog Fashion Cupcakes or something I know since I talk about them so much. I am a little too enthusiastic about making/eating them but seriously those little things are just a passion of mine.
So...cake thoughts.... for starters, the price is around 4,800 Korean Won (which is like 4.50-5 bucks??!) for a decidedly midget-sized cupcake. In my opinion it was too crumbly (I usually like mine extra moist) and I don't like to waste bread...however the cream cheese frosting was really good so a major save there. The cafe is literally tiny- if I step on my tippy-toes I can touch the ceiling and let me tell ya I'm a shorty. I think the cafe has somewhat of a cult following though, the lady behind me bought 28 to go and ended up forking over at least $120 and literally cleared the trays.
Anyhow, it's not bad so make sure to pop by if you're ever in Seoul.
I'm currently demolishing a huge hunk of Cadbury's milk chocolate as I write this. I asked a visiting friend from Australia to bring me the latest RUSSH and a bar since I was going through heavy and major withdrawals of each. Flicking through the latest Oct/Nov issue, I can literally feel the anticipation for a hot and heavy Oz summer on every page. Just glorious. I'm so jealous. Summer braids, beach & new skincare inspo are some of my fave spreads that I had to snap pictures above and share. I also finally got around to test-driving the Anastasia Beverly Hills SalonBeauty express for brows and eyes kit in brown. It comes with a multitude of helpful stencils but unfortunately I couldn't find the perfect one for my face (guess it wasn't made for Asians, har har) so I just free-styled mine. If you are a bit of a brow maniac I definitely suggest it!
Was rummaging around my "LA" photo folder on my desktop and decided to post these pics. I love and I am terrified of the palm trees in Los Angeles- they look like toothpicks swaying in the wind. I don't know if you've ever been to Mel's Drive-In but they make a MEAN chocolate milkshake. So good.
