This is SO adorable. How could you ever eat something this pretty?? These super cute Pantone confections were made by 26 year old French baker Emilie. Her entire blog is just scrumptious!
Those who know me know that I am quite the cupcake fiend. The red velvet and orange cream cheese at Frosted Cupcakery (1200 N. Highland Ave. Los Angeles CA 90038) were particularly delightful, extra fluffy and cushion-y. I did not have the chance to try out the legendary Sprinkles cupcakes but I heartily recommend this place to anyone if you happen to hang out in LA.
I'm literally kicking myself for not visiting Tartine Bakery the last time I was in San Francisco a couple of months ago. Due to an hectic schedule I had to pass it up even though I had it circled on my city map in red and mentally chartered a bus route there and everything. Next time I'm most definitely going! I was so happy to see that The Selby had gone behind the kitchen to take some images of Chad Robertson and Elizabeth Prueitt's bakery. Beautiful images! There is nothing more comforting than a piece of freshly-baked, crusty bread for sure!
Looking at these images of fresh berry biscuit cobbler has my stomach grumbling for more pastry delights. I am literally itching for an oven- if you know me and my love for baked goods then you know that I am in major PAIN because I'm oven-less. Today I went to Myeong-dong for a bit of Spring shopping and I went a little berserk in Zara, Forever 21 and H&M having been on a self-shopping ban for two months. I was looking for a cheaper version of the lace-up Isabel Marant shorts and managed to find more of a coral pink shade that was lace-less but definitely like 195 gazillion dollars cheaper. It'll do for now. Do you wanna see my other buys?
Natalie Portman's lemon-beige Givenchy dress reminds me of the lemon squares that I made over the winter holidays- deliciously sweet and tarty. Is her messy bun beyond romantic or what? Plus she is the cutest pregnant mum ever. On another note, OMG. I finally saw Black Swanyesterday after about four attempts of trying to find tickets/time to watch the movie. It was PHE-NOM-E-NAL, unlike anything I had ever seen before. There's a reason why she won that Oscar.
