Feathers, suede, silver, turquoise, braids...and how could I forget- a good dash of Roberto Cavalli! No, but seriously this is a trend that I'm totally into! Starting with these gorgeous danglers:
Source: Photos by Mariano Vivanco for Vogue Russia May 2011 I hope you're having a lovely week! It's only Tuesday and I'm feeling so tired already...falling asleep while drinking coffee. Uh oh. Posting this lovely, loud editorial featuring gorgeous chunky bracelet cuffs and necklaces. It's what I want to wear this summer. J'adore!
I have a sort of perpetual love affair with vintage earrings though I adore vintage jewellery in general but earrings and watches are my ultimate favourites. Sorry about the blog lag, school has been keeping me very busy and I spend every spare moment catching up on my zzzzzzzz's//
So this past weekend I partied so much that my quadriceps are literally aching (lots of goodbye parties in the space of three days). I have no idea how it is possible to be just aching in these two specific muscles but that's the way it is. Right now, I have an apple-scented candle lit beside my keyboard and am wearing a facial mask. Very much downtime.
I really wanted to post the above pictures because I am currently obsessed with gold chunky things. My mum used to wear a gold chain bracelet that I always admired growing up before she lost it....oops. I hate it when I lose jewelery, most of it is sentimental so it hits me hard.
Absolutely ♥♥♥ these! The more colourful, the better. I want to layer them over a round neck, heather or white-coloured tee shirt. Source: Photo by Andrea D'Aquino for QVEST Mag 44, Jean-Franois Campos for Flair March 2011
Adoring the arm accessories at Carin Wester ss11. I love bracelets but when I'm bothered enough in the mornings I wear an armlet out of the house. In the summer of course.
"An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury."
The Origami collection by NY based jewelry designer Max Steiner has fulfilled all my fantasies in wearing all those cranes I ended up folding throughout my childhood years. Yes, I was also a paper-folding maniac back in the day. How pretty are the earrings in gold/silver and the lily necklace too?
